In person workshops are a great way to try out basket making, learn and practice a particular shape or technique or increase your confidence in the craft. I teach all levels and tailor the workshop to your own needs. Projects are discussed beforehand so we can have a productive session focused on what you need and would like to learn at any stage on your weaving journey.
These workshops are the only hands on way to learn from me as I do not teach one on one at the moment.
The two-day weekend workshops are relaxing and fun way to dive into basket weaving. they are suitable for all levels. They offer space to allow yourself to be immersed into the weaving and learning new skills.
A light lunch and materials are included in each workshop price. There will be tea and snacks available all day too.

There is no public transport into the village or the nearby AirBnB. Having your own vehicle is best suited. If this is an issue please get in touch.

All workshops are €210 for two days.
This is a fully immersive weaving week suitable for all levels. This is a time to fully focus on your own work with me guiding you with each step. All projects will be catered to your skill level and what you would like to learn and improve on.
I would like to know what you would like to work on, what techniques you would like to learn, maybe what you have done before and what you might be struggling with so I can tailor this week to your needs and make sure willow is available to play with!

The weaving week will all happen in the usual place, our lovely community hall.
Lunch, tea and snacks will be provided. All materials are also included in the price.
In the evening there is an option to explore the area with hikes, visits to interesting places and our local pub. This will be mainly at your own initiative but I will give guidance and participate where possible.
There is no acces from public transport to the village or the local AirBnB. Having a vehicle is advised. If this is an issue please get in touch.
