Ideal for outdoor structures, not a great rod for weaving as the inner pith is thick, thereby leaving the rod soft and able to kink too easily for a neat and strong basket. But all is forgiven as it dries to a lovely yellow colour. I use it sparingly for adding contrast as weavers, not good as uprights.
