What do I do in winter?
Working with willow is very season dependent. Winter starts with the harvest. After that the long process of grading willow, sorting by size, starts. This winter I also planted some longer stemmed willow for pollarding, and I got the opportunity to make a living willow arch and two living willow play areas. I also show you how I maintain our living willow hedge. In this video you can see me do all of the winter willow tasks.
I love your work and how you present it to others (me)! I’m working on getting closer to nature by flower farming and want to plant a living fence and gate around the garden. Thank you for the inspiration!
